We really enjoyed our dinner in La Vista. I don't think there is a restaurant with a better view in the area, it has a cozy ambience and was the perfect place to catch the beautiful sunset. You have a wide selection of drinks, the menu is extensive with many authentic Mexican options and generous portions. The staff was polite, patient and attentive. All in all an amazing experience and we cannot wait to visit again!
O restaurante fica perto do Huaca Pucllana.
We did not try the classic anticucho -- marinated grilled beef hearts -- because we're wimps. However, the chicken skewers and grilled pork cutlet were delicious, well seasoned. The service was attentive and our server was very friendly and helpful in explaining the different dishes. We were surprised they had an English menu because it feels like a local place -- we were the only tourists there, others who came were clearly regulars. They also have a few vegetarian skewer options. Extremely reasonably priced, would definitely recommend!
The place to be found discriminatory. I can't explain everything there, but I've seen something with my family here. I feel either they don't know how they know their employees to a degree of knowing customers is king or they feel they always have customers. Eating is okay. I was here several times, but that would be my last time in this restaurant.
I am a well travelled person and I do appreciate good coffee (but Italian style not american nor peruvian styles) and I must say that their capuccino is as good as in Italy (and better than in most European countries) - that is no surprise as the owner (now deceased) has developped his own peruvian coffee mixture with a homemade italian roasting process (and coffee lovers know how this process is essential for tasty coffee) - so I highly recommend this place for its coffee - I also had breakfast and the mixed fruit juice "sortido" is absolutely delicious - in the morning the place is full of white hair regular customers reading the Comercio and other newspapers which gives the place a very cosy atmosphere - I love it
